Hello XDA! Been on here forever without ever having to post a single thing because seems like someone is always asking or addressing a question about something that i have had.
It is a phone ROM so you will have a No signal icon up top but wifi, bluetooth, nfc....everything works great. PLUS there is a wifi tethering option
I do have it installed in a MULTIROM SETUP but i dont see how that would change anything and i have been using it for my DD for a week with no issues at all.....im shocked that it worked so well but hey im considered a NOOB that got lucky. (to ya'll im a NOOB)
ITSMIKERAMSAY APPROVED!! everyone thank this awesome guy for such a unique rom in a place where they all look like P.A.C man nowadays. IT gets his seal of approval and if i can hone some skills in i will be maintaining the NEXUS 7 Branch.
ALL credit goes to the amazing itsmikeramsay and ofcourse Cyanogenmod /Slim Roms/ and Android ofcourse.
I do run this rom with mods installed Xposed Framework, Xposed App Settings, LMT Launcher (SLIM PIE is included in thsi rom so no need)
*Upon Initial Boot just go to settings and click on INTERFACE and then NAVIGATION BAR to get you a permanent or temporary nav bar (i dont use nav bars anymore)
I see the 3g Dongles are catching on....with this ROM you can share your 3g connection to other devices using the wifi-tethering or Bluetooth tethering option. SEEMS LIKE I SEE ALOT OF NEXUS 7 USERS TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT! TAKE A LOOK AT THIS ROM AS I HAVE INCORPORATED IT SUCCESSFULLY AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS AS A STANDARD FEATURE ON ALL NEXUS 7 ROMS NOW!
I have run wifi hotspot for 4 hours straight using these items
1.OTG Adapter
2. My 4 Port USB hub
3.USB male to male wire (made it myself, just make sure to only have the red and black wires working if you do so)
4. PPP widget
5. Strong USB CHARGER
Plug one end of ur male to male adapter to ur charger....the other end to a port of ur hub....then attach ur otg adapter to the male fitting of the hub. Plug that into the tablet. Wait till you see that it is charging, then plug in your 3g Dongle. (its okay to plug the 3g dongle straight to the otg adapter then to ur tablet without a powerd hub if you want but its not very battery friendly) Im not gonna go into the setup of the PPP widget cuz im tired but ya'll have the internet and can read haha i will type up what i do sooon

Thank you for looking and I cant stress to ya how much you should give this ROM a try, I know its ugly as hell at first like all nexus 7 roms but with a couple of tweaks its soooo fast and smooth and looks good too.

**FIX** Flash this WIFI only mod in recovery to eliminate some cell standby battery drainage. I will eventually incorporate this fix into the ROM itself - ClickHere

My S3 completely fried itself after plugging and un-plugging my otg adapter maybe alittle too fast and is in Texas being examined then replaced by Samsung (warranty work baby). In the mean time though i wanted to get a look at a new rom by my fav developer itsmikeramsay. Seeing as how i was without my phone, i decided to port it to the Nexus 7 and amazingly its freakin flawless considering some of the ultra beta buggy stuff that gets posted up.
